Objective

The purpose of this project is to reduce and eliminate flooding at a number of hot –spot locations across the Doha. Draft Conceptual designs have been established by the PWA utilizing a combination of standard and novel methods to collect and manage surface water run-off. The basic concept design behind the design has been attenuation at origin, taking advantage of the favourable conditions the country offers for evaporation and surface infiltration, and minimizing the contribution to downstream S&GW systems.

The general scope of work for design and construction of the Surface Water Drainage system includes, but not limited to:

• Construction of Surface water network
